Light

String of Turtles will thrive with bright, indirect light. Too little light will prevent proper growth.

Water

As a semi-succulent, its leaves are full of water, so allow it dry out before watering again. Overwatering can cause root rot!

Potting Mix

Use a well-draining potting mix. Add some perlite for extra drainage! You can also use a mix meant for succulents.

Humidity

Arrow

This plant is extremely EASY to propagate!

First

Snip off a few healthy strings from your string of turtles. Make sure there are some healthy leaves on each string.

Second

Remove the bottom-most leaves from the strings so you have some nodes without any leaves. Nodes are where new growth will come from!

Third

Plant the strings in potting mix with at least one node buried on each one. New roots will sprout from the nodes!

And Last

Keep potting mix moist as roots form & keep in bright, indirect light. Roots will form over the next couple of weeks. That's it!
